About
Gramofon is a record company established in year 2003.
We prefer artistic projects which are innovative, urban, authentic or important in some other way.
At the same time, we are trying to preserve and document music heritage of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Since 2004, Gramofon project has been supported by Swiss Cultural Programme, a common programme of the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and Swiss Development Cooperation SDC.
Gramofon discography has three separate editions:
novi gramofon: different styles and types of music, actual production (new
music, electronic, improvised music, jazz...)
etno gramofon: traditional and sacral music
gramofon classic: so-called classical music
Gramofon releases DVD editions within a special edition:
gramofon video: documentary films, music and artistic video works
Three years in a row, Gramofon editions have been marked as the most outstanding releases of Bosnian discography,
the first one was Emina Zečaj and the second was Dubioza kolektiv.
According to the leading magazines in Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoster's album Ojužilo and Sikter's album My Music were marked
as the best albums in 2005. At the same time other Gramofon editions received very positive reviews region wide.
