06.12.2013. | OD 4. JULA U PRODAJI PRVI ALBUM ANSAMBLA HALKA

Nakon samo nekoliko sedmica od formiranja ansambla do završetka snimanja, prvi album grupe Halka, nastao u produkciji Gramofona, bit će objavljen 4. jula.

Ansambl kojeg čine muzičari iz Foče, Tuzle, Prijedora i Sarajeva – pjevač Božo Vrećo, gitarista Dino Šukalo, basista Edvin Hadžić, harmonikaš i pijanista Adis Sirbubalo i perkusionista Anes Beglerbegović – okupljen je u aprilu ove godine, a nakon proba održanih u ateljeu Figure u Sarajevu, CD kojeg čini 14 pjesama, snimljen je od 2. do 5. maja u studiju Muzičkog centra Pavarotti u Mostaru.

Album je producirao Edin Zubčević, snimio Eric Bajramović, dok je miks i mastering uradio Johannes Wohlleben u Bauer Studiju u Ludwigsburgu u Njemačkoj.

“Ovaj album sevdaha je zamišljen, odsviran i produciran s idejom da konačni rezultat budu pjesme koje će biti vjerne onome što je najbolje u istoriji sevdaha i koje će služiti na čast ne samo muzičarima ansambla Halka nego i svim prijeratnim velikanima sevdaha koji su oblikovali ovu muziku i dali joj identitet koji smo mi, svi skupa, pokušali sačuvati, ne opterećujući ga muzičkim elementima koji sevdahu ne pripadaju i ne trebaju”, kazao je Zubčević.

CD će biti objavljen 4. jula u okviru edicije "novi gramofon" izdavačke kuće Gramofon, a predstavlja naše 30. izdanje kojim obilježavamo desetu godišnjicu postojanja.

U našoj produkciji objavljena su od 2003. do 2013. godine neka od najznačajnijih poslijeratnih diskografskih izdanja u Bosni i Hercegovini poput albuma Adija Lukovca, Dubioze kolektiva, Zostera, Siktera, Emine Zečaj, Amire Medunjanin, Damira Imamovića, Sanela Redžića i drugih.

06.06.2013. | PREMIJERNO PRESLUŠAVANJE ALBUMA

U petak, 7. juna na talasima Studentskog eFM radija premijerno preslušavanje upravo završenog albuma ansambla Halka.

Halku čine Božo Vrećo (vokal), Dino Šukalo (gitara), Edvin Hadžić (kontrabas), Adis Sirbubalo (harmonika, klavir) i Anes Beglerbegović (udaraljke). Album je sniman početkom maja u studiju Muzičkog centra Pavarotti u Mostaru, miksan i masteriziran prije nekoliko dana u Studios Bauer u Ludwigsburgu u Njemačkoj, a bit će objavljen do kraja mjeseca u produkciji Gramofona. Producent albuma je Edin Zubčević.

05.14.2013. | “HALKA” SNIMILA PRVI ALBUM

U studiju Muzičkog centra Pavarotti, završeno je snimanje prvog albuma ansambla “Halka”.

Ansambl, kojeg čine pjevač Božo Vrećo, gitarista Dino Šukalo, basista Edvin Hadžić, pijanista i harmonikaš Adis Sirbubalo i perkusionista Anes Beglerbegović, od 2. do 5. maja u Mostaru je odsvirao repertoar koji je snimio Eric Bajramović, a producirao Edin Zubčević.

"Ansambl čine iskusni profesionalci koji su uživo odsvirali 13 odličnih pjesama. Želja nam je bila uraditi album bez nasnimavanja, dosnimavanja, editinga i sličnih produkcijskih postupaka, što je vrlo zahtjevno i ambiciozno, a u sve u namjeri da sačuvamo autentičnu ljepotu izvedbe i zvuk ansambla postignut već na probama”, kazao je Zubčević i dodao da će materijal krajem mjeseca biti miksan i masteriziran u Bauer studiju u Ludwigsburgu u Njemačkoj.

U ovom čuvenom studiju osnovanom prije više od 60 godina u kojem su snimali umjetnici poput Keitha Jarretta ili Tri tenora, izdavač albuma, produkcija Gramofon iz Sarajeva od 2006. godine snima, miksa i masterizira svoja izdanja.

“U daljem procesu produkcije pokušat ćemo sačuvati kvalitet koji je postignut kolektivnim muziciranjem. Halka je snimila sjajan album, i ostaje da na isti način dovedemo čitav proces do kraja. Samo će najbolje biti dovoljno dobro, imajući u vidu repertoar, umijeće i nadahnutu izvedbu ansambla”, naglasio je producent albuma.

Halkin prvjenac će, kao i prethodnih 29 izdanja Gramofona, biti štampan u Sonyju u Austriji. Objavljivanje i promocija CD-a su najavljeni za kraj juna.

05.01.2013. | ZAVRŠENE PROBE ANSAMBLA HALKA (video)

Danas, prvog maja u Mostaru, u studiju Pavarotti, započinje snimanje albuma ansambla Halka kojeg čine muzičari iz Foče, Prijedora, Tuzle i Sarajeva: pjevač Božo Vrećo, gitarista Dino Šukalo, basista Edvin Hadžić, harmonikaš Adis Sirbubalo i perkusionista Anes Beglerbegović.

Snimanje albuma uslijedilo je nakon intenzivnih proba u sarajevskom ateljelu Figure gdje je u toku jučerašnjeg dana snimljena završna proba novoosnovanog ansambla.

Snimak je u jednom kadru uradio fotograf Zijah Gafić, a vjerno dočarava atmosferu sa proba tokom kojih je odabran i pripremljen repertoar albuma koji će producirati Edin Zubčević, a objaviti izdavačka kuća Gramofon iz Sarajeva. Album će biti objavljen već sljedećeg mjeseca, a tokom ljeta i jeseni bit će predstavljen serijom promotivnih koncerata u Bosni i Hercegovini.

04.22.2013. | POTPISAN UGOVOR SA BOŽOM VREĆOM

Već nekoliko dana u sarajevskom umjetničkom ateljeu Figure traju probe ansambla kojeg čine muzičari iz Foče, Tuzle, Prijedora i Sarajeva. Riječ je o novom projektu na bosanskohercegovačkoj sceni koji će već narednog mjeseca rezultirati snimanjem albuma i našim novim diskografskim izdanjem.

Novo ime u Gramofonu je pjevač Božo Vrećo a sa ovim umjetnikom potpisan je ugovor o višegodišnjoj saradnji koja uključuje produkciju dva albuma, umjetnički menadžment i međunarodno zastupanje.

Ove godine produkcijska kuća Gramofon obilježava desetogodišnjicu postojanja i prvjenac Bože Vreće će biti objavljen na isti dan kada je prije 10 godina objavljen CD "Remake" Adija Lukovca koji je bio naše prvo izdanje. U proteklom periodu Gramofon je producirao i objavio albume Emine Zečaj, Dubioze Kolektiv, Zostera, Sanela Redžića, Damira Imamovića, Amire Medunjanin, Basheskije, Validne Legitimacije i drugih domaćih muzičara postavljajući visoke produkcijske standardne u Bosni i Hercegovini ne samo kada je riječ o muzici nego i o zvuku i likovnoj opremi svojih izdanja.

O saradnji sa mladim pjevačem iz Foče, osnivač i producent Gramofona Edin Zubčević kaže: "Božo Vrećo je bez ikakakve sumnje jedan od najvažnijih interpretatora sevdalinke koji su se pojavili u posljednjih 20 godina i vjerujem da će vrijeme koje dolazi ne samo potvrditi njegov talenat nego i konačno artikulirati poslijeratnu renesansu sevdaha koji je autentična baština Bosne i Hercegovine, jer uz bosanski stećak, sevdalinka je kulturni sinonim naše zemlje koji na vjeran način reprezentira našu duhovnost i istoriju."

04.01.2013. | NOVI USPJEH SANELA REDŽIĆA

Naš najuspješniji i najvirtuozniji klasični gitarista mlađe generacije Sanel Redžić objavio je novi album.

Nakon svog prvog izdanja objavljenog u aprilu 2007. godine za bosanskohercegovačku izdavačku kuću Gramofon, Redžićev drugi CD pod nazivom “Segovia Inspirations” predstavlja omaž jednom od najvećih gitarista svih vremena Andresu Segoviji, a objavljen je proteklog vikenda za njemačkog izdavača KSG Exaudio.

Sanel je upravo u subotu 30. marta uspješnim koncertom u prestižnoj dvorani Concertgebouw u Amsterdamu promovirao novi album čime je započeo i svoju ovogodišnju koncertnu sezonu koja će biti nastavljena koncertom u Weimaru 4. aprila, gdje će nastupiti zajedno sa orkestrom i izvesti čuveni Concierto de Aranjuez Joaquina Rodriga.

Nakon toga publika u našoj zemlji imat će priliku uživati u dva njegova koncerta: 6. aprila Redžić nastupa u zeničkom Bosanskom narodnom pozorištu, a 8. aprila u Sarajevu gdje će nastupiti na završnom danu Internacionalnog festivala gitare.

Ovog uspješnog gitaristu rođenog u Tuzli u maju očekuje koncert u Nacionalnoj filharmoniji Ukrajine u Kijevu te velika azijska turneja koja je planirana za novembar i decembar u okviru koje će Redžić u Japanu održati koncerte u 12 gradova, nakon čega će uslijediti i nastupi u Kini. U završnoj su fazi i pregovori za Sanelove koncerte na Tajlandu, te u Manili na Filipinima.

10.23.2012. | SVJETSKA PREMIJERA U TUZLI I SARAJEVU

Nakon što 4. novembra bude zatvoreno 16. izdanje Jazz Festa, bosanskohercegovačku publiku očekuje svjetska premijera jazz ansambla kojeg čine iznimni međunarodni umjetnici francuski gitarista vijetmanskog porijekla Nguyen Le i njemački vokalista Michael Schiefel, te basista iz Tuzle Edvin Hadžić i bubnjar iz Sarajeva dr. Amar Češljar.

Ovaj će ansambl u Bosni i Hercegovini održati dva koncerta – 9. novembra nastupit će u sarajevskom Kamernom teatru 55, a dan kasnije 10. novembra u tuzlanskom Bosanskom kulturnom centru. Riječ je o koncertu koji se organizira u okviru projekta Jazz bez granica u organizaciji Goethe Instituta, Francuske ambasade i agencije Gramofon.

Nguyen Le značajno je ime na evropskoj i svjetskoj muzičkoj sceni, a u Sarajevu smo ga imali priliku slušati na sceni Jazz Fest 2003. godine kada je predstavio svoj projekat Celebrating Jimi Hendrix.

Schiefela smo gledali na prošlogodišnjem Jazz Festu kada je predstavio projekat u kojem je sudjelovao sa bugarskim bubnjarom Stoyanom Yankoulov0m i Edvinom Hadžićem.

Napominjemo da će publika 16. Jazz Festa Hadžića i Češljara slušati i gledati i u okviru ovogodišnjeg festivalskog programa, prvog kao člana Arkul Orchestre i Sarajevo Jazz Guerille, a drugog u njegovom TAAK Triju koji će nastupiti u okviru programa Late Nite Stage.

03.27.2012. | PREDIN I DEDIĆ U SARAJEVU

14. aprila u Bosanskom kulturnom centru u Sarajevu slovenački kantautor Zoran Predin i hrvatski pijanista Matija Dedić predstavit će svoj projekat pod nazivom “Tragovi u sjeti”.

Ovo je prvi zajednički album dvojice umjetnika, koji nudi jedinstvenu interpretaciju pjesama Arsena Dedića, Olivera Dragojevića, Parnog valjka, Josipe Lisac, Zdravka Čolića i drugih koje su ostavile traga u vremenu i sjećanjima mnogih generacija.

"Pjesme koje se nalaze na albumu često sam pjevušio sam za sebe. Vremenom su postale dio mene i kad sam napokon skupio dovoljno hrabrosti i samopouzdanja odlučio sam ih snimiti”, kaže Predin koji je tako na jednom mjestu zabilježio pjesme koje ga, kako sam kaže, prate cijeli život. Na koncertu koji organizira agencija Gramofon iz Sarajeva, Dedić i Predin će izvesti i neke od Predinovih najpoznatijih pjesama.  

“Pjesme poput ‘Praslovan’, ‘Čakaj me’ ili ‘Naj ti poljub nariše ustnice’ urađene su u novim aranžmanima. Dobile su potpuno novu ritmiku pa vjerujemo da će publika uživati”, kazao je Dedić.

Ulaznice za koncert po cijeni od 20 KM mogu se kupiti na blagajni BKC-a 13. i 14. aprila.

03.19.2012. | "DORANTES" U MOSTARU I SARAJEVU

Krajem marta u Mostaru i Sarajevu bit će organizirani koncerti španskog flamenko sastava Dorantes koji predvodi pijanista David Pena Dorantes.

Ovaj umjetnik koji potiče iz čuvene andaluzijske muzičke porodice, na uspješan način objedinjuje različite žanrove, od klasike i jazza, do elemenata keltske ili brazilske muzike, što rezultira posebnim stilom koji je Dorantesu donio brojna međunarodna priznanja i pozitivne kritike u medijima.   

"U pratnji virtuoznih muzičara Dorantes dokazuje da klavir može parirati emotivnom naboju flamenko gitare", napisano je u jednom osvrtu na koncertni nastup Dorantesa kojeg na pozornici prati njegov sedmočlani sastav kojeg čini i flamenko plesačica.   

Muzička kritika ističe kako je ovaj muzičar imao hrabrosti istražitivati dosad nepoznate horizonte flamenka, pri tome ostajući vjeran muzičkoj tradiciji Andaluzije. Osim publike u Španiji, Dorantesa danas vole i u ostalim zemljama Evrope.   

Španska ambasada u Bosni i Hercegovini organizira 29. marta u dvorani Hercega Stjepana Kosače koncert u povodu otvaranja Španskog trga u Mostaru, dok će koncert u Sarajevu biti organiziran u Bosanskom kulturnom centru 31. marta.

01.25.2012. | IZBJEGLICA - NOVI SPOT ZOSTERA

Nakon objavljivanja trećeg studijskog albuma pod nazivom Imači kada, Zoster predstavlja novi spot za pjesmu Izbjeglica.

Riječ je o drugom singleu sa aktuelnog albuma na kojem se nalazi deset autorskih pjesama Marija Knezovića, frontmena grupe.  Prošlog ljeta Zoster je predstavio spot za pjesmu Sve u svoje vrijeme – prvi single sa albuma Imači kada objavljen kao i Zosterova prethodna dva albuma za izdavačku kuću Gramofon. 12.16.2011. | Uskoro novi album Zostera

Gramofon uskoro objavljuje novi album Zostera pod nazivom Imači kada.

Na Zosterovom trećem studijskom albumu naći će se 10 pjesama čiju muziku i tekstove potpisuje frontmen grupe Mario Knezović, dok su aranžmane uradili članovi Zostera kojeg osim Knezovića čine gitarista Atilla Aksoj, klavijaturista Gabrijel Prusina i bubnjar Goran Rebac. Na albumu gostuju saksofonista Boris Gutić i trubač Ivan Sušac.

Album je sniman u studiju Baraka u Mostaru tokom februara i marta prošle godine, a producent albuma je Atilla Aksoj.

Novi album Burhana Šabana bit će uskoro objavljen u izdanju Gramofona iz Sarajeva, u okviru nove edicije ove izdavačke kuće pod nazivom Gramofon Populi.

Na albumu pod nazivom Tebe trebam bit će objavljeno šesnaest najljepših ilahija po izboru Burhana Šabana. Album je snimljen u Sarajevu i Istanbulu u periodu juli-decembar 2010, a osim bosanskohercegovačkih muzičara, na albumu gostuju i muzičari iz Turske. 12.14.2010. | NAJAVA NOVOG ALBUMA VALIDNE LEGITIMACIJE

Validna Legitimacija video spotom za pjesmu Braco najavljuje svoj novi album pod nazivom "Para-svega+para=hvala lijepo", na kojem će se naći 19 kompozicija.

12.13.2010. | SANEL REDŽIĆ TREĆI NA SVJETSKOM TAKMIČENJU U INDIJI

Tuzlanski gitarista Sanel Redžić osvojio je treće mjesto na svjetskom takmičenju koje je proteklog vikenda održano u Kalkuti u Indiji.

Redžić je treću nagradu osvojio na  otvorenom međunarodnom takmičenju u kojem je sudjelovalo 78 klasičnih gitarista iz cijelog svijeta. Prvo mjesto osvojio je Andras Csaki iz Mađarske, dok je Ukrajinac Marko Topci bio drugi. Pored takmičenja, u Kalkuti je održan i festival na kojem je nastupio još jedan bh. gitarista – Denis Azabagić koji je održao dva koncerta. Abazagić i Redžić samo su neki od brojnih uspješnih muzičara koji su školovanje započeli u Tuzli, u klasi cijenjenog pedagoga profesora Predraga Stankovića.

Zahvaljujući brojnim osvojenim priznanjima, a ovo posljednje je 15. međunarodno priznanje koje je osvojio do sada, Redžića sljedeće godine očekuje veliki broj koncerata u Evropi, a treće mjesto na takmičenju u Indiji donijet će mu u 2011. godini koncerte u Nju Delhiju, Kalkuti, Mumbaiju i drugim indijskim gradovima.

“Vrlo sam sretan. Biti treći od 78 gitarista za mene je veliki uspjeh. Ovo mi je za sada najdraža nagrada jer je konkurencija bila najteža od svih dosadašnjih takmičenja”, kaže Redžić.

Spomenimo još da je Redžić prošlog mjeseca osvojio prvo mjesto na takmičenju Scharpach, održanom u njemačkom gradu Oberhausenu. Inače, u ovoj godini tuzlanski je gitarista održao više od 20 koncerata u Španiji, Njemačkoj, Češkoj, Austriji, Bosni i Hercegovini, Poljskoj, Holandiji i Srbiji.

Redžić je trenutno na završnoj godini studija u Weimaru, u Njemačkoj. Svoj prvi CD objavio je u svojoj sedamnaestoj godini u produkciji izdavačke kuće Gramofon. Na albumu iz 2007. godine objavljene su kompozicije Scarlattija, Mertza, Domeniconija i Dyensa. Novi Redžićev album bit će objavljen naredne godine, također za Gramofon.

11.20.2010. | NU SOUND OF BELGRADE – specijalni gost Vlada Divljan

U subotu 27. novembra u sarajevskom Domu mladih bit će održan koncert Nu Sound of Belgrade u organizaciji MTV-a, Doma omladine Beograda i agencije Gramofon iz Sarajeva.

Natupit će Zemlja gruva, Svi na pod! i SevdahBabay (DJ set). Kao specijalni gost koncerta, sa sastavom Svi na pod! će nastupiti bivši Idol Vlada Divljan. Njihova saradnja započela je ovog ljeta.

“Sve je počelo početkom avgusta ove godine. Iste večeri na festivalu su nastupali Svi na pod! i mi, odnosno ja i Nevladina organizacija. Poslije njihovog nastupa, mi smo svi pali na pod od ushićenja, a poslije našeg nastupa oni su se od sreće učlanili u Nevladinu organizaciju. Onda su me Bojana i Petar zvali i predložili da snimimo nešto zajedno, u
septembru smo se našli u studiju, a ostalo je istorija...”, kaže Divljan.

Koncerti pod nazivom Nu Sound of Belgrade u Zagrebu, Ljubljani i Sarajevu predstavit će novu generaciju beogradskih autora i sastava stasalu u noćnoj vrevi jednog od najdinamičnijih gradova u regionu.

11.15.2010. | NOVI ZVUK BEOGRADA U SARAJEVU

Najaktuelniji mladi beogradski bendovi SevdahBaby, Zemlja Gruva i Svi na pod! nastupit će krajem novembra u Ljubljani, Zagrebu i Sarajevu, u okviru programa Nu Sound of Belgrade kojeg organiziraju MTV i Dom omladine
Beograda.

Prvi koncert bit će održan 25. novembra u ljubljanskom Kinu Šiška, dan kasnije u zagrebačkoj Močvari, dok će u subotu 27. novembra nastupiti u sarajevskom Domu mladih.

Svaki od ovih bendova predstavlja drugačiji aspekt plesne muzike. Tako SevdahBaby nudi novi pogled na plesnu tradiciju sa ovih prostora, obogaćenu modernim ritmovima i preoblikovanu za novo vrijeme u kojem živimo.

Zemlja gruva je ustanovila gruvlend! u kojem je stil manje važan, a jedino što se računa je dobar gruv koji pokreće na ples.

Intenzivnim korištenjem svih prednosti elektronske muzike, Svi na pod! postiže svjež i snažan indi-pop zvuk sa elementima trip-hopa i duba. Specijalni gost, na nastupu ove grupe, koja je kao predgrupa nastupala sa Massive Attackom, bit će i bivši Idol Vlada Divljan.

Nakon više od dvije godine Imamović će ponovo nastupiti pred tuzlanskom publikom i ovaj put predstaviti repertoar svog novog albuma objavljenog u aprilu za izdavačku kuću Gramofon iz Sarajeva. Koncertom u Bosanskom kulturnom centru Tuzla, Damir Imamović će početkom juna predstaviti svoj novi album tuzlanskoj publici.

Nakon što je koncertna promocija solo albuma pod nazivom „Damir Imamović“, objavljenog u aprilu za izdavačku kuću Gramofon, započela koncertom u Sarajevu, nastavljena u Cirihu i Beogradu gdje je Imamović krajem prošle sedmice ispraćen ovacijama pred punom dvoranom Kolarca, koncert 5. juna u Tuzli bit će prvi solo nastup Damira Imamovića u ovom gradu.

Koncert se organizira u saradnji sa BKC-om Tuzlanskog kantona, a Imamović je u ovoj dvorani i u Tuzli posljednji put nastupao sa svojim triom u oktobru 2007. godine. Bit će ovo jedinstvena prilika da publika uživa u repertoaru sa novog albuma Damira Imamovića.

Sve je spremno za koncert portugalske zvijezde Marize koji će se održati večeras u Bosanskom kulturnom centru s početkom u 20.00.

Mariza je jučer doputovala u Sarajevo sa svojim petočlanim ansamblom, te ekipom tehničara koja će biti zadužena za dizajn svjetla i zvuka. Za ovaj koncert bit će korištena vrhunska tehnika, čime je agencija Gramofon, organizator koncerta, željela publici priuštiti vrhunski ugođaj kako bi večerašnji koncert Marize bio jednak nastupima koje je ova vrhunska umjetnica imala u najzačajnijim svjetskim koncertnim dvoranama širom svijeta poput Carnegie Halla u New Yorku, Palau de La Musica u Barceloni ili Barbicana u Londonu.

Organizator će dio ulaznica pustiti u prodaju u box officeu BKC-a danas od 12.00 kako bi posjetioci i iz drugih gradova Bosne i Hercegovine imali priliku kupiti ulaznice i prije početka samog koncerta. Iz Gramofona napominju da će ulaz u dvoranu biti moguć 30 minuta prije koncerta.

Večeras u 20.00 u Bosanskom kulturnom centru bit će održan koncert Damira Imamovića.

Sarajevskim koncertom započet će koncertna promocija Imamovićevog solo albuma, objavljenog prošlog mjeseca u produkciji izdavačke kuće Gramofon, a čiji će repertoar biti predstavljen na subotnjem koncertu.

“Ovim koncertom počinjem novo putovanje kroz gradove i kroz pjesme. Koliko vidim, priče s novog CD-a već imaju svoj život i veoma se radujem njihovom prvom javnom izvođenju nakon objavljivanja albuma”, kazao je Imamović najavljujući koncert koji se organizira u saradnji sa BKC-om Sarajevo.

Osmog maja koncertom u Bosanskom kulturnom centru u Sarajevu počet će zvanična promocija novog albuma Damira Imamovića.

Damirov treći CD pod nazivom „Damir Imamović“ ujedno je i njegov prvi solo album koji je izdavačka kuća Gramofon objavila početkom aprila. Svojim novim projektom, ovaj umjetnik na autentičan način reinterpretira poznate sevdalinke, a njegov je projekat naročito značajan jer posebnu pažnju posvećuje zaboravljenim pjesmama, otkrivajući njihovu skrivenu ljepotu novim generacijama slušatelja.

Od danas je u prodaji novi CD Damira Imamovića jednostavno nazvan Damir Imamović.

Album je objavljen u produkciji izdavačke kuće Gramofon iz Sarajeva, a na njemu se nalazi deset sevdalinki u aranžmanu Damira Imamovića. “Ovaj CD je možda nešto najličnije što sam do sada uradio”, kazao je Imamović i dodao: “Pjesme koje se na njemu nalaze i muzički su i tekstualno rezultat višegodišnjih istraživanja jednog gotovo zaboravljenog dijela repertoara sevdaha.”

“Plan je da uskoro na koncertima pokušam otići korak dalje s ovim repertoarom”, dodao je Imamović najavljujući koncertnu promociju svog trećeg albuma.

NO LIMIT Sarajevo Advertising Festival 2010 donio je agenciji Communis i Gramofonu značajnu nagradu: idejno rješenje omota albuma “Zumra” osvojilo je zlatno priznanje.

03.21.2010. | JOŠ JEDNA NAGRADA ZA SANELA REDŽIĆA
Gitarista Sanel Redžić osvojio je još jedno priznanje za svoj rad – drugo mjesto na međunarodnom takmičenju “World guitar competition" koje se održava za gitariste do 30 godina starosti, a po prvi put ovo svjetsko takmičenje je održano u Novom Sadu.

U finale takmičenja ušlo je deset gitarista, a proteklog vikenda nakon petosatnog takmičenja, žiri je proglasio najbolje mlade gitariste. Prvo mjesto osvojila je Borbala Seres iz Mađarske, Sanelu Redžiću sa neznatnom bodovnom razlikom pripalo je drugo mjesto, dok je treća Sabrina Vlaškalić iz Srbije.

U narednom periodu Sanela Redžića očekuju brojni nastupi. Tako će krajem mjeseca nastupiti u Austriji, a u aprilu i maju očekuju ga koncerti u Španiji, Poljskoj, Češkoj i Njemačkoj. Nakon gotovo dvije godine i sarajevska publika moći će 9. juna uživati u nastupu ovog talentiranog i uspješnog mladog umjetnika koji krajem juna odlazi na najveće svjetsko gitarsko takmičenje u Austin u Sjedinjenim Državama.

03.16.2010. | SOLO ALBUM DAMIRA IMAMOVIĆA
Šestog aprila izdavačka kuća Gramofon objavit će novi CD Damira Imamovića.

Na albumu se nalazi deset pjesama u aranžmanu i izvedbi Damira Imamovića snimljenih u Sarajevu u januaru ove godine. Zanimljivo je da su sve kompozicije snimane mono (koristeći samo jedan mikrofon). Repertoar novog albuma čine i pjesme koje su rijetko objavljivane, poput integralne verzije sevdalinke Na Obhodži prema Bakijama.

“Pjesme na ovom CD-u tražile su otvorenije aranžmane i individualan pristup svakoj priči”, kaže Imamović. “Dugo istražujem različite sazlijske stilove u sevdahu. Diveći se velikim majstorima i slušajući njihove priče, učio sam pričati vlastite. Ovaj je album snimljen takoreći u jednom dahu i na vjeran način predstavlja ono što bih želio nazvati ‘moj sevdah’”, dodaje Damir Imamović.

Album je producirao Edin Zubčević, a masteriziran je u Bauer studiju u Ludwigsburgu. Autor fotografije na naslovnici CD-a je Amer Kapetanović, dok dizajn potpisuje Goran Lizdek iz agencije Communis.

Nakon dva albuma koja je objavio sa svojim triom, ovo je Imamovićev prvi solo CD.

11.19.2009. | AMIRA MEDUNJANIN AND BOJAN Z
For all those who love Amira Medunjanin’s voice Gramofon has scheduled a true musical treat for early December. She will perform three duo concerts with Bojan Zulfikarpasic in Tuzla, Zenica and Sarajevo.

The duet had its premiere this April in Sarajevo at the Xenophonia festival, organized by Sarajevo Jazz Fest. Amira Medunjanin and Bojan Zulfikarpasic performed a repertoire that in addition to sevdah songs also included several Macedonian traditional songs. Both critics and the audience expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the concert.

As a part of their Bosnian mini-tour Amira Medunjanin and Bojan Zulfikarpasic will play Tuzla and Zenica for the first time. The Tuzla date is scheduled for December 3, at BKC, and will be part of the Tuzla’s 2009 BKC Days Festival. On December 4, these two extraordinary musicians will play Bosnian National Theater in Zenica. The mini-tour will come to a close with the Sarajevo date at BKC, December 5.      

The tickets will sell for 15 KM, and all concerts start at 20.00.

07.06.2009. | SANEL REDZIC CONTINUES TO WIN AWARDS
Guitarist Sanel Redzic won the first prize at the International biennal guitar competition in Kutna Hora, Chech Republic.   

Redzic was unanimously voted the best guitarist at the open competition, in which he won second place two years ago, in the under-twenty category. This year’s winning was even more important to him, because there was no age limit this time. More than thirty guitarists performed there, all the way from Venezuela to Australia, and both the jury and the audience greeted our guitarist with a big round of applause after his finale performance.   
 
In addition to winning an expensive guitar made by Petr Matouse and a money reward, winning this international competition would give Sanel Redzic a privilege to play a couple of major European festivals in the next two years. Fifteen concerts have already been scheduled for Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, France and Spain, and the first concert is to take place in France on June 21.      

This prize is a great honor and the fourth international prize he won this year, along with Weimar, Lisbon and Markneukirchen. Sanel’s first album was released on Gramofon in 2007, and his next album is scheduled for release on Gramofon by the end of the year. The album will feature compositions of Eric Satie. 

05.14.2009. | GUITAR DAYS IN TUZLA
A three-day Guitar Days festival in Tuzla will celebrate thirty years of work of renowned music teacher Predrag Stankovic. 

He educated some of the world-famous guitarists such as Dejan Ivanovic and Denis Azabagic, or some of the young ones such as Boris Tesic and Sanel Redzic. These artists, all of them his former students, will play at the Guitar Days festival: Sanel Redzic will play Kabare theater on Thursday, May 28, at 7:30 pm, following by Boris Tesic at 8:30 pm. Denis Azabagic will play at BKC Friday, while Dejan Ivanovic will play at the Tuzla National Theater on May 30.       

Predrag Stankovic was born in Tuzla in 1949. He started playing guitar when he was thirteen, and took lessons with Ivan Kalcina and Mila Rakanovic. He started teaching in 1973 at Tuzla’s Dom Mladih. He has been teaching at the Tuzla Music School since its opening in 1979, as well as at the guitar department at the Tuzla’s High School of Music since 1991. He has taught more than a thousand kids, winning 102 awards, 25 of them at international competitions.   

This distinguished professor has won many prestigious awards, and has been a jury member at different competitions at home as well as abroad. Predrag Stankovic has established a youth art center in Tuzla in 1996 which prepare talented children for music education. He co-produced two albums for Sanel Redzic.

04.06.2009. | ZUMRA ALBUM RELEASED
Merima Kljuco and Amira Medunjanin have released an album Monday, April 6.

This duo played for the Sarajevo audience at the last year s Jazz Fest where Merima Kljuco guest appeared at the Amira Medunjanin s concert at the Next Generation stage. They performed a few songs off the Zumra album which were well received.  

There are fourteen traditional Bosnian, Macedonian and Serbian songs on the album, including Aleksa Santic s Kradem ti se u veceri which opens the album. The album was recorded and mixed by Walter Quintus between April and June 2008 at Zerkall Studio, Germany. It was mastered at Bauer Studio in Ludwigsburg. Merima Kljuco produced and arranged the album. Cover design was done by Ajna Zlatar from Communis.         
 
Merima Kljuco graduated from the Accordion Department in Rotterdam; she continued her education in Bremen when she received her Master s Degree in Music. She has performed solo and with ensembles throughout the US, Europe and Australia.      
 
The album is available at all good CD shops in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

03.16.2009. | NEW AMIRA MEDUNJANIN ALBUM ON GRAMOFON
A new Amira Medunjanin album will be released April 14, on Gramofon.  

The album Amira Live! is a recording of a concert at BKC that took place November 2008 at the Sarajevo Jazz Fest, as a part of the Next Generation program. Her backing band consisted of Dino Sukalo (guitar), Kim Burton (piano, accordion), Edvin Hadzic (double bass and vocal), and Amar Cesljar (drums).

The concert was recorded by Dorian Jovanovic and Bosko Mangarovski, while Eric Bajramovic did an HD recording. The recordings were mixed by Dino Sukalo at BedRoom studio, Sarajevo, and mastered at Bauer Studio in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The album producer was Edin Zubčević, while Ajna Zlatar made a cover design.
 
Amira’s Jazz Fest concert was her first Sarajevo live performance. It was well received by media and critics as well as the audience. She is again to perform April 10, at Xenophonia Music Happening, this time in a duo setting with pianist Bojan Zulfikarpasic.

There are eight traditional Balkan songs on Amira Live!. One of the songs, Stade se cvijeće rosom kititi, can be sampled at Sarajevo-X.com.

08.07.2008. | BOSNIAN DIVA’S NEW ALBUM
Emina Zecaj, the first lady of Bosnian sevdalinka, is to release a new album by the end of the month.
Her previous album was released in 2003 and contained songs she performed with a Sarajevo saz player Mehmed Gribajcevic. As with her previous release, the new album will also appear on Gramofon label and will contain twelve songs she performed accompanied by an accordion player Avdaga Buzar. The album was recorded early spring 2005 at MGKS studio and produced by Edin Zubcevic. The postproduction was done in Bauer Studios, Ludwigsburg, Germany.
Emina Zecaj, Bosnian music’s diva, is not only an excellent performer of sevdalinka, but also a collector of this particular genre, who saved hundreds of songs from oblivion including some of the most beautiful Bosnian traditional songs.
The release of this valuable document of Bosnian music heritage was supported by Swiss Cultural Program and Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton.

11.14.2007. | SANEL REDZIC WINS FIRST PLACE AT THE GUITAR FEST
Sanal Redzic, a young guitarist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, won first place at the Guitar Fest that has just finished in Banja Luka. This international competition that has been going on for two years now gathered more than sixty guitarists in Banja Luka, between November 8 and 11. Sanel won first place in the under 35 category, and his prize was a valuable guitar hand-made by Zoran Kuvac from Banja Luka.
It has been announced that our young guitarist would perform solo concert at the next Guitar Fest in 2008. Since last month Redzic has been studying at the Weimar Konservatorium in Germany, and on December 2, he will perform in Bern, Switzerland, at a local guitar fest. Thanks to his reputation Redzic has been invited to conduct a master class in Bern for young guitarists from all over Europe.
The Bosnian guitarist had his first album released this April on Gramofon label. The album was produced by Edin Zubcevic and postproduced by Predrag Stankovic. The same team is working on Sanel’s new album scheduled from release next year.

This online store is responsible for more than 80% of the total sale of the digital music and it offers more than 5.000.000 songs in high-quality digital format.

07.20.2007. | SANEL REDŽIĆ AT THE BAŠČARŠIJA NIGHTS FESTIVAL
Sanel Redzic, a young guitar player from Tuzla, will play a concert at Baščaršija Nights festival in Sarajevo.  
The concert will take place at Svrzina Kuca on July 30, from 21.00. This concert will also be a Sarajevo promotion of his first album that was released on Gramofon in April. The album received excellent reviews and German magazine Jazzthetik said that Sanel was "guitar player of impressive skills.".
Besides compositions from his first album, Sanel has also prepared some new repertory that will be on his new album scheduled for release next year. 

07.06.2007. | THE FIRST DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV ALBUM SOON TO BE RE-RELEASED
Gramofon scheduled re-release of the first Dubioza kolektiv album from 2004 for August this year.
Their first album was made between July and October 2003 and it contained songs Be Highirly, Bring The System Down, and Prisoner, which made them very popular throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Critics said that the album “corresponds with what’s happening in the rest of the world. It’s a clever, fresh, and full of energy…definitely the best record in years. It doesn’t underestimate its listeners.” Read more: press.

06.19.2007. | SIKTER DVD OUT
Today’s release of Sikter’s DVD titled My Documents marks their fifteenth anniversary. The DVD was done in cooperation between Gramofona i Pro.ba. It contains the 80-minute documentary about Sikter directed by Timur Makarević, all their video spots made between 1992 and 2006, demos and live audio recordings for the fans of early and war-time Sikter, photo album and film outtakes.

This successful eighteen-year-old guitar player from Tuzla will hold two concerts to promote his debut album released in April 2007 on Gramofon Record Label.  The concert promotion will be held in Tuzla and Sarajevo. 05.01.2007. | A NEW RELEASE OF MARIMANGA TRIO AND BOJAN Z
A new release of the Marimanga TRIO & Bojan Zulfikarpašić is out now. This is the second album by a Kosovo-Bosnian trio recorded at Feedback studio in Vienna in June 2001, produced by Edin Zubčević. The first release was out in 2004 also on Gramofon label. The members of the trio are: Armend Xhaferi (guitar), Enes Seferović (double bass) and Bajram Istrefi (drums, percussions). All of them have been present on the Austrian club scene for several years now. The guest musician on the album on even six tracks is world renowned pianist Bojan Z.
The CD, released within the Novi Gramofon edition, contains nine compositions. The repertoire is comprised of original compositions by Armend Xhaferi, several traditional songs from Kosovo and the composition “Zilbra” by Bojana Zulfikarpašića, which was released for the first time more than ten years ago on an album by Bojan Z’s quartet.
Music by Marimanga TRIO is a unique fusion of jazz and traditional music. Their artistic ambitions are not trend based but rather represent their own musical identity which is in turn defined by their music tradition and jazz history.

04.19.2007. | THE FIRST ALBUM BY A SUCCESSFUL GUITARIST FROM TUZLA
Gramofon record label has released a first album by a young guitar player from Tuzla, Sanel Redžić. This very successful eighteen-year-old guitarist, with many musical acknowledgements yet to come, he has chosen for his first album a repertoire which best reflects his technique, musicality and great talent for interpretation. The album contains works by Johann Kaspar Mertz, Augustin Barrios Mangore, Vicente Asencio, Roland Dyens, and Carl Domeniconi.
Jazzthetik Magazine, a leading magazine in German-speaking countries, in its March edition has named Sanel ‘a guitar player with impressive skills’. Also, Miroslav Tadić, who wrote liner notes for the Sanel’s debut said: "This exceptionally talented guitar player shows musical maturity unusual for his age. The recording of the compositions is natural and unpretentious just like Sanel’s performance. We should remember his name. Judging by his first CD, Sanel is going to go a long way." The album released within Gramofon Classic edition was recorded in July 2006, produced by Edin Zubčević.
Sanel Redžić was born in 1988 in Tuzla. He has been playing guitar since he was eight. Sanel is in his final year of a specialized Music High School, studying under professor Predrag Stanković, who is also a co-producer of the album. Sanel has won many awards in national and international competitions; the last one is first place in an international competition for young guitar players under the age 35 held in Hungary in March.

04.08.2007. | BASHESKIA AND LETU ŠTUKE PERFORMED IN AN OVERCROWDED DOM MLADIH
On Saturday evening Basheskia & Edward EQ and Letu štuke performed in an overcrowded hall of Dom mladih. The tickets were sold out, and Dom mladih was too small to admit all those who wanted to listen to this concert which was organized by Gramofon agency.
The concert was supported by interesting video animations by Vedran Mujagić. According to the reaction of the audience the ones who they were fascinated by were Basheskia & Edward EQ. The band performed songs from Basheskia’s album 23/23 but also some songs that haven’t been released yet. Imelda Ramović also joined them on stage to perform the song Blablabla bla. After their hour long performance, Letu štuke came up on stage receiving loud audience cheering.
Their performance filled the audience with enthusiasm, and also Dino Šaran, the leader of the band, was pleased with the concert. “I am glad that Dom mladih has finally hosted a concert for young people and that we took part in it, together with Gramofon”, said Dino Šaran and added that he was very excited to hear the audience sing the songs from their first album together with the band and please about the positive reaction of audience to the songs that will be released on the new album by Letu štuke.

04.06.2007. | UNPOPULAR SINGLES ARE RELEASED
The compilation Unpopular Singles containing 11 songs emerged as a reaction to lack of interest of local media for urban musical trends. The CD contains songs by Zoster, Sikter, Dubioza kolektiv, Validna Legitimacija, Skroz, Basheskia, Adi Lukovac, Vuneny and Edwarda EQ. Most of the songs haven’t been released on a sound carrier.

03.29.2007. | LETU STUKE AT DOM MLADIH ON APRIL 7

Letu stuke, Basheskia & Edward EQ will play Dom Mladih in Sarajevo on Saturday, April 7. The concert, organized by Gramofon and supported by the City of Sarajevo, would be the last event of the three-day celebration of April 6. The event would also be supplemented by Vedran Mujagic’s VJ-ing, based around historical and cultural heritage of Sarajevo. The animations that this young artist is going to create for this occasion will present some of the most important events, people, places, and dates of the history of Sarajevo. Along with their hits “Minimalizam,” “Sunce,” and “Mjesto za dvoje,” the audience would have an opportunity to enjoy some of the new Letu Stuke material that has not been published yet. Along with the songs from Basheskia’s first album 23/23 which was released on Gramofon last year, Basheskia and Edward EQ will play some new songs which would appear on his next album.
The tickets will cost 7 KM and will be available at street vendors at Skenderija plateau and Ferhadija Street.

03.26.2007. | A NEW VICTORY OF YOUNG GUITAR PLAYER FROM TUZLA
Eighteen-year-old guitar player from Tuzla, Sanel Redžić, won the first prize at the international competition for young guitarists held in Szeged, Hungary, from 22 to 25 March.
The competition was for guitarists under twenty years of age. At this prestigious European competition, Sanel’s half an hour long programme demonstrated his extraordinary technique, musicality and exceptional talent for interpretation and he was awarded with the first prize by the jury, that is to say a concert guitar by the Greek luthier Vassilis Vasileiadis and two concerts in Hungary in the following year. The first performance by this Bosnian guitar player will be at the Szeged International Guitar Festival and the second performance at the Marble Hall, one of the greatest concert halls in Budapest. The concert will be broadcast live on the Hungarian National Radio.

03.25.2007. | NIKÖLL PERFORMS AT CDA THIS SATURDAY

DJ Niköll will perform at CDA on Saturday, March 31. The French artist had already performed in Sarajevo on several occasions, and all his performances were characterized by authentic music and extraordinary showmanship. Trying to describe his music, a French journalist said that it was hard to express a felling one has while watching this young man playing keyboards, singing, and operating samplers simultaneously. “You feel as if in a fairytale until you suddenly realize that music you’ve been listening to is a happy and cheerful improvisation.”

03.15.2007. | FIRST ALBUM BY SANEL REDŽIĆ OUT IN APRIL
The young guitarist from Tuzla, Sanel redžić, will release his first CD in April. The album was recorded in the summer of last year whilst Sanel was still under eighteen.
The complexity of the repertoire that Redžić, a final year student of a specialized Music High School studying under professor Predrag Stanković, has chosen for his first album surpasses by far the expected scope of an album repertoire -of a high school music student. 01.05.2007. | GRAMOFON RELEASES AMONG THE BEST IN 2006
According to magazine Slobodna Bosna, the albums Dubnamite by Dubioza kolektiv, 23/23 by Basheskia and Mesijanski sindrom by Validna Legitimacija have been listed among the best releases in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2006. As a surprise of the year the magazine has chosen Nedim Zlatar (Basheskia) and as a hit of the year they have chosen Zoster’s song Policija.
According to the magazine Start the last year was one of the best years in history of Bosnian music and it brought forth ten excellent albums. Dubnamite, 23/23 and Mesijanski sindrom are among Top 10 albums in 2006.

12.07.2006. | DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV CONTINUES TO TOUR
After numerous concerts at summer festivals in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, France, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Dubioza kolektiv is finishing a very successful concert season. The last part of this year’s tour has started with their concert in Zagreb at Pauk club, followed by their performance at Kongresni trg in Ljubljana marking World’s AIDS Day and then a concert at Slovenska Bistrica.
This weekend as well, Dubioza continues promoting their album Dubnamite, which was released on Gramofon label in May 2006. Within the tour promoting their second album, the band held over thirty concerts. Next Friday they will be performing in Split at club Kocka and the following day in Zadar at Providurova palača. At the end of the month Dubioza will be playing in Austria in Vienna, Aflenz and Berg/Drau.
Dubioza will continue promoting Dubnamite also in 2007. Concerts in Ostrava and Prague in Czech Republic and Brussels, Belgium have been confirmed so far.

11.15.2006. | UNDERGROUND ENSEMBLE RECORDED THEIR NEW ALBUM
Last weekend at Bauer studio in Ludwigsburg, Germany, Underground ensemble recorded their second album.
The new album called Continuum, produced by Edin Zubčević, will be released next year on Gramofon label. Gramofon has already released their first album called Underground in May this year. The ensemble is lead by a composer and drummer Dejan Terzic. He was born in Banja Luka, but he’s been living and working in Germany for many years now. Besides Terzic, the members of the band are: German guitar player Frank Moebus and American musicians Chris Speed and Mark Helias.
At the famous Bauer studio, founded in 1948, numerous musicians like: Keith Jarrett, Miles Davis, Jan Garbarek, Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Chick Corea, famous European philharmonic orchestras and numerous symphonic orchestras, recorded their music. Underground recorded ten compositions at Bauer studio – nine of them are original compositions by Dejan Terzic, and one is a traditional composition with a new arrangement.

11.02.2006. | UNDERGROUND PRESENTED IN SARAJEVO
On 1^st November, ensemble Underground held their first concert in Sarajevo within 10^th International Music Festival Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2006. The ensembele, whose leader is Dejan Terzic, opened this year’s Jazz Fest and received excellent review from the audience and media.

10.29.2006. | FESTIVAL BUDALA HAS BEEN RECORDED
Recording and mixing of  Zoster’s  new album Ferstival budala has been finalised. The album will contain 16 songs and will be released in December 2006. The songs were recorded at MGKS studio in Sarajevo last summer. Postproduction will be done at Masterhana, Sarajevo.

09.15.2006. | GRAMOFON SHOWCASE 2006
This weekend in Sarajevo, Gramofon Showcase 2006 will be organised with a programme that is focused on promoting Bosnian discography and presenting it to the national journalists as well as to the journalists coming from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
On 22nd and 23rd September there will be two concerts held for the journalist attending the Showcase, one of Emina Zečaj and the other of young guitar player from Tuzla, Sanel Redžić, whose album will be released in Gramofon production soon. Within the Showcase, a round table will be organised, with participation of local musicians, foreign and national journalists, with the focus on the position of new authors and musicians in Bosnian and regional media and under-representation of traditional and modern music in the media. Apart from the debate, there will be a video projection about Validna Legitimacija, and presentation of video works by Sikter.
As a central concert event, Gramofon Showcase has scheduled a performance by electronic duo from Sarajevo, Basheskia & Edward EQ, and a band from Mostar, Zoster.

09.13.2006. | ZOSTER IN BANJA LUKA, SARAJEVO AND ZAGREB
A new single „Na kamenu“, as an intro to new album by Zoster, is out now. And you can expect another single called „Ko je jamio“ on air by the next week.
Bothe songs will be on their new album Festival budala, which is to be released by the end of October as a Gramofon production.
In the mean time, Zoster’s next gig is in Sarajevo at CDA on 23 September supported by Basheskia and Edward EQ.
A day before, on 22 September, Zoster will hold a concert at Banja Luka (Music pavilion at Petar Kočić park), and in KSET in Zagreb (CRO) on 28 September.

08.01.2006. | ZOSTER IN CROATIA AND SLOVENIA
After concerts in Tuzla and Sarajevo, Zoster will hold three concerts in Croatia and Slovenia this weekend.
Their first performance will be in a festival Istria In Reggae on 4 August,  on the first day of the festival organised in Bale-Valle. The concert within the Koperground in Slovenia will be held on 5 August in Kopar. It will be their second performance in Slovenia after the Reggae Lakesplash Festival held near Slovenj Gadec.
The very next day, Zoster will perform in the club Treći svijet, in Kaštel Stari, Croatia.
Upon their return from Croatia-Slovenia tour, Zoster will play at ‘Festival prijateljstva’ in Goražde.

Dubioza kolektiv is on a tour, promoting their new album Dubnamite, that started in May and will last till the end of September holding over 30 concert s in Bosnia-Herzegovina and all over Europe. By the end of July they have already had about twenty gigs including performances at the festivals in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia. 07.13.2006. | BASHESKIA NO. 1 AT BALKANMEDIA TOP 100
Basheskia’s Blablabla Bla video is the Number 1 at the Balkanmedia TV Top 100, as the most requested and aired video in the last week.
BH band Zoster from Mostar holds the second place on the Top 100, on the most popular music TV in the region, with the video Policija from their album Ojuzilo. 
Among the Balkanmedia Top 100 are also Sikter’s My Music and Don’t You Miss Me, as well as Basheskia’s One from his maxi-single Postcards From Sunny Neighborhood. These videos have been aired on TV Balkanmedia and MTV Adria for couple of months now.
It is interesting that they cannot be seen on other national TV stations.

Dejan Terzić’s new album Underground has been released by Gramofon.
This extraordinary drummer, originally from Banja Luka, has been living in Germany since age of three.

05.17.2006. | DUBIOZA MADE A NEW VIDEO
Dubioza kolektiv completed the shooting of their new video for the song Triple Head Monster from the new album Dubnamite. The video was shot in CDA hall in Sarajevo and produced by Pro.ba. About 150 fans of Dubioza kolektiv participated in video shooting of one of what’s been generally thought as the most important young bands in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mire from Tuzla-based band Defence and a guest performer in the song was present at the shooting, too.

On 31 March this year Basheskia will hold a concert at the Otvorena scena Obala, Akademija scenskih umjetnosti, and present his work to the Sarajevo audience.
Together with Edward EQ, Basheskia will perform song from his debut album and maxi-single Postcard From Sunny Neighbourhood released at the end of 2004. 
After the last year’s gigs in Sarajevo and Arboresence Festival in French Aix-en-Provence this will be Basheskia’s first concert in BiH this year, and will be organized by Gramofon.

02.22.2006. | FIRST BASHESKIA'S ALBUM IS OUT
Gramofon released the first album by Basheskia called "23/23".
The author is making a parody of different pop and rock clichés and developing his own music expression calling it 'pop naive' not anticipating any particular audience. His message is dedicated to everybody. The songs from the album "23/23" discuss universal human worth in love, friendship, dilemmas, jealousy and confusion.

01.25.2006. | "A PROPOS DE SARAJEVO" IN BANGKOK
A documentary by Haris Pašović A Propos de Sarajevo has been invited to participate in a Bangkok International Film Festival taking place from 17 till 27 February 2006. At the festival in Bangkok more than 150 feature films and documentaries from all over the world will be presented, including both big productions companies films and independent movies.

01.10.2006. | SIKTER IS PERFORMING AT THE EUROSONIC FESTIVAL
Sikter will be representing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurosonic festival which will be held in Gröningen from 12th till 14th January.
Eurosonic is considered to be one of the significant festivals of the kind in Europe. Besides a great number of visitors, this three-day-long event taking place within “Nordeslaag”, an annual seminar of the Benelux music industry, is visited by booking agents, managers and other participants of music business. This way, they are getting an insight into current European music trends so the festival becomes a place of agreements and planning of concerts and discography activities. It is worthy of mentioning that Dubioza kolektiv performed at the last year's festival, and year before Adi Lukovac took part in it. Except for Bosnia and Herzegovina, only Slovenia has its representative at the festival when it comes to ex-Yugoslavian region.
Sikter's concert is planed for Friday, 13th January at 8:00 p.m. at the Muziekschool hall in Gröningen.

01.05.2006. | GRAMOFON RELEASES HAVE MARKED 2005
Summing up the results on the music scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the last year, the local magazines have announced the best albums, bands and performers in their last editions for 2005.
Slobodna Bosna placed two Gramofon's releases, "My Music" by Sikter and "Ojužilo" by Zoster, among top five albums published in the country in the previous year. Furthermore, magazine Dani signed 'Ojužilo' as one of the three albums that have marked last year's music scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dani have also declared Minority to be a band of the year in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005. While in a poll in the magazine Start, the musicians and music experts pointed out "Ojužilo" as one of the best national albums in 2005.

12.21.2005. | BASHESKIA'S FIRST ALBUM COMING SOON
By the end of January, the first Basheskia's album called 23/23 will be released.
Following a maxi single released by the end of 2004 "Postcard From Sunny Neighbourhood", Basheskia's second CD will contain eleven songs which have been composed during the last two years. For more details click on releases.

11.15.2005. | FIRST COMPILATION RELEASE BY GRAMOFON
Nepopularni singlovi is the title of a compilation which will be released by Gramofon at the beginning of the next year.
The CD will contain eleven songs by the musicians considered to be "unpopular" in the opinion of music editors of public media, i.e. national radio and TV stations, therefore, disregarding the interest of the audience, their songs cannot be heard on radio and TV programmes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The compilation Nepopularni singlovi came into existence as a reaction to the indifference of local media towards urban musical trends.
The compilation will contain songs by Sikter, Zoster, Dubioza kolektiv, Validna legitimacija, Skroz, Basheskia, Adi Lukovac, Vuneny and Edward EQ. Most of the songs that will appear on the compilation hasn't been relaeased before.

07.15.2005. | OJUŽILO - First album by ZOSTER
The first album by Zoster, a band from Mostar, is out at the beginning of August.
The band emerged five years ago, result of "the society’s low immune system and as a need to say and do something", as the members of Zoster put it. The very name of the band originates from a kind of herpes which appears as a result of low immunity.
In an attempt to express their attitude, they have chosen reggae, considering it most appropriate for this turbulent era, in where even a tinge of aggressiveness is perceived as excessive, even when it comes to music. The first Zoster’s single called "Majko Jamajko" was recorded in 2003, never expecting it will become a hit on the local Herzegovinian radio stations. Demo album was recorded a year later.
Their first album "Ojužilo", released by Gramofon label, will have twelve songs recorded in the Baraka studio over last three years. The lyrics have been written for most part by Mario Knezović, while the arrangements and music are all by Zoster. Zoster are: Atila Aksoj (guitar, keyboards), Goran Rebac (drums, percussions, marimba), Mario Knezović (vocals, guitar), Dražen Planinić (bass) and Mirko Jakovljević (bass, guitar). There are a number of guest performers from Mostar and other towns of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Zoster’s debut album.

Gramofon has released its new project –Minority band’s first CD of.
Minority are: Adam Klemm (tenor saxophone), Dino Šukalo (guitar), Enes Seferović (double bass) and Amar Češljar (drums). The songs on the CD Ninja on the Roof were recorded in September last year in Sarajevo . The album contains eleven tracks, five of them written by the band members. 05.15.2005. | DON'T YOU MISS ME - NEW SINGLE BY SIKTER
A maxi single by Sikter will be soon released. CD entitled Don't You Miss Me will be on sale from next month, as a prelude to their new album, whose release is planned for the end of June. Maxi single Don't You Miss Me contains an original version of the title track, as well as three remixes by Edward EQ, Branski and Basheskia & DJ Ahmaad. The CD will be on sale at the promotional price of 8,00 BAM, and it will be available in CD-shops, as well as ordered at www.gramofon.ba. The video of the title track will be broadcast next week. The video, produced by Pro.ba, will be shown in the 'Kuhinja' show on BHT1, on Thursday, 19 May. Members of Sikter are currently finishing their new, third album, which will contain eleven tracks. The album, entitled My Music, will be released on 25 th June when the first promotional concert will be held in Sarajevo.

04.30.2005. | FIRST ALBUM OF SONEMUS ENSEMBLE RELEASED
Sonemus: Spatial Intersections is a new album released by Gramofon, a record company from Sarajevo .
What we have here is the first CD of SONEMUS ensemble, formed in 2001 aiming to promote contemporary artistic music - new music. The album contains eight compositions by Luciano Beri, Felix Baumann, Aliser Sijaric, Elliot Carter, Brian Ferneyhough and Darija Andovska. Regular members of the ensemble SONEMUS who feature on this album, are Julija Gubaidullina – piano, Boris Previsic – flute, Violeta Smajlovic-Huart – violin and Vedran Tuce – clarinet. There is a number of guest appearances on Sonemus’ debut, namely the following artists from Switzerland : a clarinetist Ernesto Molinari and a cellist Martina Schucan.
This year, the ensemble SONEMUS received Davorin Music Award for their achievements in the field of classical music.

04.29.2005. | TWO DAVORINS TO DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV
At the fourth Bosnia and Herzegovina music award ceremony, Davorin 2005., Dobioza Kolektiv won awards in two categories.
This B-H band was nominated in eleven categories of Davorin, including a nomination in one of the most important categories –album of the year. It won the national music award in the best debut album category, as well as the musical innovation category – promoting a different sound.
Members of Dubioza Kolektiv were not present at the award ceremony in Zetra on Thursday evening, because the band is currently on tour in Slovenia.

02.10.2005. | DAVORIN 2005: GRAMOFON RELEASES RECEIVE13 NOMINATIONS
Gramofon artists Dubioza Kolektiv and Basheskia, whose albums were released last year received, 13 nominations for "2005 Davorin Award" – 4th Bosnia and Herzegovina music awards.
Following the first round of voting, voters from all-around B-H have chosen 5 nominees in each category. Dubioza Kolektiv came second among the total of eleven nominees. This band that already released two albums, was nominated in one of the most important Davorin categories –album of the year. They were also nominated in the categories of rock/urban/club album, song and artist of the year.
Video for Dubioza Kolektiv's song "Ovo je zatvor" was nominated for the best video in the category of rock/urban music, while the song “Keep Burning” recorded with Mush from Fun-Da-Mental was proposed for the most successful international music collaboration.
Adisa Zvekić, member of Dubioza Kolektiv, is amongst five nominees for the best female vocal performer in 2004, while Brano Jakubović and Almir Hasanbegović were nominated in the category for the best music arrangement for Dubioza Kolektiv's album.
Vedran Mujagić is nominated in the category of best album cover design.
Dubioza Kolektiv is also amongst shortlisted nominees for debut album of the year, music innovation – different sound. Basheskia with maxi single “Postcards from Sunny Neighborhood” was also nominated in these two categories.

Marimanga Trio & Bojan Zulfikarpašić album will soon be available in stores as the last CD edition by Gramofon this year.
This is the second album released by the Kosovo-Bosnian trio, after "Adventure Has Just Begun", released by Jezz Fest Records four years ago. Guest musician on the new album of trio Armend Xhaferi, Enes Seferović and Bajram Istrefi is the pianist Bojan Zulfikarpašić.
CD with nine tracks recorded in June 2001 is a 6th edition by Gramofon and it will be published as a part of the Novi Gramofon edition.

11.01.2004. | DVD 'A PROPOS DE SARAJEVO ' OUT SOON
Towards the end of the year Gramofon will release its first DVD- 'A Propos de Sarajevo'. The documentary directed by Haris Pasovic and filmed last year during the 7th International Music Festival Jazz Fest Sarajevo 2003 tells the story of Sarajevo and the festival, which has, since its beginnings, brought some of the most significant representatives of European and world music scene to Sarajevo . The DVD 'A Propos de Sarajevo' will be released in co-production with Space Production.

10.20.2004. | NEW DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV MUSIC VIDEO
Dubioza Kolektiv are finishing the filming of their new music video for 'Ovo je zatvor' (This is a prison) which is the band’s first track recorded in Bosnian. The song is not to be found on the material which will soon be released by Gramofon and, as group members stress, 'Ovo je zatvor' contains samples taken from the TV journal. The music video was produced by Fabrika and will be broadcast on TV stations by the end of October.

09.12.2004. | THE DUBIOZA KOLEKTIV MAXI SINGLE IN PREPARATION
After a successful debut, Dubioza Kolektiv will soon release their maxi single titled Open Wide. The CD will contain remixes of singles from their first album and two records made in cooperation with the British poet Benjamin Zephaniah and Mush (Fun-Da-Mental). The CD is released by Gramofon and the release date is 21November.

Basheskia: Postcards From Sunny Neighbourhood is the title of the new Gramofon project, due to be released this autumn as their third project of this kind. It is a maxi single of a young BiH author Nedim Zlatar, which will be released as a part of the Novi Gramofon edition. The album hosts a number of young artists from BiH and more information will be given in the beginning of November.

As of Wednesday 31 March the first CD of Dubioza Kolektiv will be available in stores. The CD can be bought in Sarajevo in CD Shops "Magaza" and "Buybook", and in Mostar in CD shop "Nirvana". The publisher wanted to make the CD accessible to younger audience therefore a retail price of 15 KM was agreed in cooperation with the CD-shops where Dubioza Kolektiv's CD is to be sold.
